Who we are
The Municipality of Isulan, a local government unit of the Province of Sultan Kudarat, Republic of the Philippines, is the personal information controller (PIC) responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Our principal office is the Isulan Municipal Hall, Barangay Kalawag II, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, Region XII.
We process personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
What we collect
- Contact form submissions. Your full name, email address, chosen subject, and the contents of your message.
- Information you volunteer. Any additional personal details you choose to include in a message, such as a phone number, address, or details of a transaction with a municipal office.
- Technical data. Standard web server logs kept by our hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and troubleshooting.
This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your questions, concerns, and reports, and to route them to the municipal office concerned.
- To act on service requests and feedback about municipal services.
- To keep this website secure and available.
- To carry out the mandates of the Municipality under the Local Government Code of 1991 and other applicable laws.
Lawful basis
We process personal data on the following bases under RA 10173: your consent, given when you submit the contact form; processing necessary for the Municipality to fulfill its functions as a public authority; and processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.
Who we share it with
Your message is shared only with the municipal offices and personnel who need it to act on your concern. We do not sell personal data, and we do not disclose it to third parties except: when required by law, regulation, or lawful order; to other government agencies when your concern falls under their jurisdiction; or to service providers that process data on our behalf, such as our web hosting provider, under obligations of confidentiality.
How long we keep it
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to act on your concern and to comply with the records retention requirements applicable to local government units, after which it is securely disposed of.
Your rights
As a data subject under RA 10173, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your personal data is processed.
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Object to processing, including for direct marketing or profiling.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Erasure or blocking of data that is unlawfully processed or no longer necessary.
- Data portability, where processing is by electronic means.
- Damages, for injury caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or unlawfully obtained data.
